How We Work

While finding a reliable dog walking service is no simple task, the job of a dog walker is obviously pretty simple. Before we take on any client, one of our dog walkers has a meeting with you and your dog. We normally spend about 30 minutes talking about your needs and getting to know your dog(s).

If our schedule allows us to provide the dog walking services you’re looking for, and if our dog walker can get comfortable with your dog (and vice versa), then we jointly sign a one-page contract that outlines a schedule and pricing.

For example, the majority of our clients are looking for us to pay a single visit, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours. Some of our clients only need a dog walker a few days a week, some with long work commutes outside of McHenry County need us to make two visits every day, and after we’ve built a relationship with a client, we’ll even work “On Call” when a client has a constantly changing schedule.

Every one of our dog walking clients needs are slightly different, and we work hard to accommodate them. We spend at least 15 minutes with each dog, and clients often ask us to extend that. We leave a note every time we visit, we take the security of your property seriously, and have yet to meet a dog in McHenry County that we didn’t love.
